WHO WE ARE

The Affordable Housing Training Academy (powered by the OCCH Training Academy) is a newly formed enterprise that was established to meet the training needs of affordable housing practitioners focused on the management of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties and portfolios.

Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) is a not-for-profit LIHTC syndicator with a 30+ year history and a mission to cause the creation and preservation of affordable housing.  Since our inception, we have raised $6B+ and invested in more than 800 affordable housing properties within the Ohio region.

In support of our organizational mission, OCCH has sponsored its very successful Training Academy over the past 20+ years offering high quality training content to site management staff.  In doing so, we provide a valuable service to our development and management partners, while minimizing investor risk and help to improve property performance by effectively training front-line managers and service technicians.

While this training was previously reserved exclusively for OCCH partners, we are now pleased to make this training platform available to any organization interested in delivering quality training to their staff in support of the idea of improving the level of operations, enriching the experience of site staff and doing so in a way that is very affordable for your budget.

Collectively, OCCH's staff has hundreds of years of combined affordable housing experience and over the years, the Training Academy has trained thousands of site personnel.  We are very excited to extend our reach in launching the Affordable Housing Training Academy, an affiliate of the OCCH Training Academy.
